Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Salem, OR. This full-time position welcomes applications from both experienced professionals and new graduates seeking to complete their clinical fellowship year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Oregon state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience or coursework in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings
  • Strong evaluation and testing skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
  • Manage a caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development
  • Utilize SLPA support for administrative tasks such as student logging and documentation
