Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a K-12 educational setting. This part-time position focuses on supporting students with severe and complex communication needs, utilizing AAC devices and other communication tools.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Michigan SLP license.
  • Demonstrated experience with AAC and various communication devices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.

Location:
Saint Johns, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide speech-language services to approximately 30 students across two center-based programs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance students communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student development and strategies for support.
