Job Description

A K-12 public school in Saint Francis, MN is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team for a full-semester contract position. This role focuses on providing essential communication support to students, helping them overcome speech and language challenges to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare reports as required
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations
  • Assist students in enhancing articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong assessment and therapeutic skills for pediatric populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining detailed documentation

Location: Saint Francis, Minnesota
Duration: Full Semester Contract
