A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Saginaw, MI. This assignment is for the current school year (CSY) and offers a dynamic environment where professionals can make a meaningful impact on student communication and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Facilitate communication for students using sign language as appropriate
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Support students across grades K-12, adapting interventions to meet developmental levels

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Sign Language Interpreter
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 school environment
• Strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as communication strategies for diverse learners
• Ability to engage with students, families, and school staff effectively
