Job Description

An opportunity is available for skilled professionals specializing in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. This onsite position in Sacramento, CA, is designed for individuals dedicated to supporting students' communication needs through direct therapy and assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California State Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) experience
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Location:

  • Sacramento, California

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals during IEP meetings
  • Develop and maintain IEPs tailored to individual student goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as required
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions regarding student interventions
