Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLPA license required
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders within a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to fostering student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and school policies
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to best support each learner
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, dynamic learning environment
