Job Description

A K-12 educational setting in Roxboro, NC, is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized services on a part-time basis. This contract position offers the opportunity to work 16 hours per week across two days, serving students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working in educational settings (K-12)
  • Pediatric speech language pathology skills
  • Background in teletherapy and healthcare-based speech therapy is a plus
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Provide services in person and via teletherapy as appropriate
