Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school in Romulus, MI, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to support high school students in both resource room and self-contained settings, contributing to their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to high school students with diverse needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student assessments and therapy sessions.
  • Provide direct therapy and consultation services both onsite and potentially via teletherapy.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathology license required.

  • Professional school experience is highly valued.
  • Flexibility to work 24 to 37.7 hours per week during the school year.
