Two Speech Pathologist positions are available for travel assignments at an elementary school in Romeoville, IL. These roles involve servicing a diverse student population, including those in Supported Education, Multi-needs programs, and students requiring Speech-only support. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed SLPs with CCC certification and school-based experience to apply their skills in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments, therapy, and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Manage and balance a caseload of 1.5 units, supporting students across various educational categories.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support students educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience delivering speech pathology services in a school environment.
- Strong understanding of language development and speech disorders in children.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Location and Schedule: This travel assignment is located in Romeoville, Illinois. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, with a guaranteed 37.5-hour workweek for full-time positions.
Assignment Duration:
- Full-time position (1.0 FTE) runs ASAP through May 22, 2026.
- Part-time roles are available on a temporary basis until March 27, 2025.
