Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with an ASHA Certification; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings

Location:

  • Rockford, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
  • Engage with students, parents, and staff to foster effective communication and support student success

This is a contract position for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, offering 34 onsite hours per week.
