Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP or SLPA license
  • For SLPs: Professional Educator's License (PEL) through ISBE
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with AAC systems and implementation
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators and other specialists

Location: Rockford, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide services to students requiring speech-language therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate speech and language goals
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Provide support and guidance to paraprofessionals and other staff working with students
