Job Description

Embark on an impactful opportunity to deliver Speech-Language Pathology services within a dynamic school setting in the Victor Valley/High Desert area. This contract position offers hands-on involvement with students from kindergarten through high school, across two school sites, working collaboratively to help each learner reach their communication goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active California State Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Valid CTC Credential (final or preliminary accepted; pending credentials considered if available by start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred; will consider strong Clinical Fellow applicants with required licensure
  • Capability to work onsite; no virtual placements or SLPAs for this role
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations spanning K-12
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload up to 55 students across two school locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide speech and language therapy for kindergarten through high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Maintain thorough session documentation and contribute to progress reporting
  • Engage with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and inclusion
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Stay current with best practices and evolving needs in educational speech-language pathology
