Job Description

A Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services in a K-12 educational setting located in Hemet, CA. This contract position runs through November with a strong possibility of extension and additional coverage opportunities in December and February. The role involves working full-time hours over a typical school day.

Responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy to approximately 4050 middle school students at a single site. Caseload numbers may fluctuate based on evolving student needs, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Services will be aligned with educational goals to support student communication development and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
  • Experience or interest in healthcare and pediatric speech therapy
  • Eligible for and actively pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements
  • Background working with school-aged populations in an educational environment
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 35 billable hours per week
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Location:

  • Hemet, CA
  • Assignment at one middle school serving grades 68

Contract Details:

  • School calendar year (CSY) contract
  • 7.5 hours per day, 35 billable hours weekly
  • Initial assignment duration through November, with potential extension into December and February
