Job Description

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a rewarding contract opportunity in a supportive school-based setting. As a skilled SLP-CCC (or Clinical Fellow), you will work full-time, providing impactful speech and language support to students throughout the academic year.

Youll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to helping students achieve their communication goals and succeed in the classroom. With a consistent schedule and a work week of 37.5 hours, this opportunity spans from late July through late May, aligning with the traditional school year calendar. All positions are onsite, ensuring direct engagement and lasting connections with both students and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Georgia
  • Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) Certification
  • Completion of (or eligibility for) the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Experience working in educational environments preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic strategies for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with school procedures and regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Offer consultation and support within the multi-disciplinary school community
