Job Description

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Cairo, NY. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work with a caseload of 30-35 elementary-aged students, providing critical support in speech and language development. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and runs through June 26, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid New York State SLP License and TSSLD Certification
  • Experience or credentials in pediatrics and school-based speech therapy
  • Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if applicable
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 30-35 elementary students effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Provide direct therapy services to improve students communication skills
