Job Description
A school district in Racine, WI, is seeking four Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for both experienced professionals and new graduates entering their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Interviews are currently underway for positions starting next school year.
Responsibilities and Work Environment:
- Provide speech and language therapy services primarily to elementary school students
- Deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with educational teams to support students communication development
- Options available for either part-time (3 days per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) schedules
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
- Experience or willingness to work in middle or elementary school settings
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems is a plus, with training provided as needed
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
