Job Description

Join an expanding school district in San Tan Valley, AZ, as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position, covering a leave of absence, offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse elementary caseload from July 16, 2025, to May 21, 2026. Encounter a variety of speech and language needs including articulation, fluency, autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy within two elementary schools.

Position Details:

  • Hours: 32 hours per week
  • Schedule: 7:10 a.m. 2:20 p.m.

  • Caseload: Mixed disabilities including articulation, fluency, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathology License
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations and school-based services
  • Familiarity with teletherapy services a plus
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads including students with special needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a range of disabilities
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families within a supportive team environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings
  • Support student progress through targeted interventions and evidence-based practices
