Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Puyallup, WA. This contract position spans the current school year, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse student population.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and students.
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with district and state requirements.

Location & Assignment Details:

  • Position based in a K-12 school setting in Puyallup, Washington.
  • Contract role covering the current school year.
