Job Description

This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support in an elementary school setting located in Poulsbo, WA. The position is a short-term contract offering leave coverage, with flexible onsite work schedules availableeither 1 day per week or 4 days per weekserving preschool through elementary-aged students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of either 9 preschool students (if working 1 day per week) or approximately 36 students ranging from preschool to elementary age (if working 4 days per week).
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Endorsement as an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) in Washington State.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working within school settings with pediatric populations is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of an educational team.

Location and Hours:

  • Onsite position based in Poulsbo, WA.
  • Flexible hours: either 1 day per week (serving 9 preschool students) or 4 days per week (serving approximately 36 preschool to elementary students).
