Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, with a contract extending from April to June 2026. This position is based in Portsmouth, NH, serving students in grades K-12, with a specific focus on middle and high school caseloads.

Ideal candidates will possess strong experience working in school settings and hold relevant certifications, including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence). The role requires a commitment of 32.5 hours per week, supporting a diverse student population and contributing to their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for middle and high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with educational and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
