A professional opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Portales, NM. This contract position spans the current school year and involves full-time engagement, supporting students across all grade levels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in a school environment.
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Communicating with families and team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for each student.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Current New Mexico SLP Certification.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills tailored to educational environments.

• Work hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
