Job Description

Step into a rewarding position in a vibrant K-12 educational setting supporting students' speech and language development! We're seeking enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to make a genuine impact throughout the 2026-2027 school yearfrom late August through mid-June. These are full-time, in-person contract opportunities serving students across a range of grade levels.

Your expertise will foster communication skills and improve the educational experience for students who need it most. With previous experience in schools, you'll collaborate with other professionals to create inclusive learning environments and individualized support.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Current and active Washington SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations
  • Prior schools-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Passionate commitment to helping students succeed

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech and language therapy for K-12 students
  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments
  • Developing and executing IEPs, and documenting student progress
  • Consulting with teachers and families to support student achievement
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Ensuring compliance with school, district, and state guidelines
