Job Description

Step into a rewarding role serving students ages PreK to 22 as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based environment. What Youll Need:

  • Valid SLP-CCC or CFY credentials; experience with pediatrics and school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students across varying needs
  • Experience participating in IEP meetings, conducting evaluations, and providing both direct and consultative speech and language services
  • Confidence supervising an SLPA and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to work with students exhibiting challenging behaviors in a supportive and structured environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to caseload or workload models as needed

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services to students from early childhood through transition age
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, develop goals, maintain documentation, and participate in Medicaid billing
  • Supervise the on-site SLPA and support their professional growth
  • Collaborate actively in IEP meetings and provide consultative services to staff and families
  • Take advantage of provided training on the districts IEP software and utilize dedicated therapy space
  • Benefit from administrative support and indirect service time for paperwork, therapy planning, and team meetings
