Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide therapy services in a K-12 school setting in Port Angeles, Washington. This position offers a full-time contract for the upcoming school year (NSY) with a 40-hour workweek, supporting students across multiple schools on an itinerant basis. The role is ideal for professionals specializing in pediatric speech-language therapy, including those experienced in teletherapy or working within educational environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or credentials as an SLPA.
  • Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and educational settings, including teletherapy methods.
  • Eligibility to work in Port Angeles, Washington.
  • Ability to manage caseloads in an itinerant school setting.
  • Willingness to participate in remote interview and hiring process via Zoom.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students across assigned schools within the district.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines.
