Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents by delivering specialized speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders among K-12 students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide teletherapy services as needed to accommodate student accessibility.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and regulations.
  • Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent recent graduate experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
