Job Description

Serving students in grades K-12, this position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential speech-language pathology services within a dynamic school environment in Plainfield, IL. The role is a contract for the 2025-2026 school year, available on a full-time or part-time basis with 37.5 hours per week. The caseload and specific school assignments will be determined to best meet the needs of the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to a diverse student population across various grade levels.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, provide therapy, and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Participate in meetings with families, educators, and other professionals.
  • Work primarily onsite, integrating directly with students and school staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement is required.
  • Experience working in a school setting, particularly with pediatric populations, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to utilize teletherapy techniques may be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting student development and learning outcomes.
