Job Description

This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide valuable services in a K-12 school environment in Phoenix, AZ. There are four part-time leave coverage assignments available, with varying schedules and placements across preschool and elementary settings. These roles are ideal for SLPs experienced in both school and healthcare settings, including those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessments and therapy to students according to individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student communication skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings regarding student goals and accommodations

Leave Coverage Details:

  • Assignment 1: January 5, 2026 May 21, 2026 (3 days per week)
  • Assignment 2: February 4, 2026 May 21, 2026, Preschool setting (3 days per week)
  • Assignment 3: March 23, 2026 May 21, 2026, Elementary setting (2 days per week)
  • Assignment 4: April 20, 2026 May 21, 2026, Elementary setting (4 days per week)

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona SLP license
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
  • Experience in educational or healthcare SLP settings preferred
