This contract position is located in Phoenix, AZ, for the upcoming school year, starting at the end of July. The role involves working closely with students to support their communication needs, ensuring an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Arizona State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience working with high school students, grades 9-12
  • Ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location:

  • Phoenix, Arizona

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Supervise and provide guidance to an SLPA as part of a collaborative team
