Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for leave coverage at a K-12 school located in Royersford, Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity runs from November 3 to December 2, with possible extension depending on the assignment needs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, servicing one site with students ranging from early childhood through grade 12.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working within a school setting, delivering direct intervention, conducting assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and maintaining accurate documentation. Experience with pediatric populations and teletherapy is a plus, as well as familiarity with healthcare settings and clinical fellowship year (CFY) requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy, preferably K-12
  • Ability to provide teletherapy services as needed
  • Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Compliance with licensure and credentialing for Pennsylvania
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
