Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the next school year (NSY) to support elementary students (grades K-6) with multiple disabilities in Philadelphia, PA. This contract opportunity involves providing both in-person and teletherapy services within two elementary school locations.

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Setting: Elementary Schools (K-6)
Contract Duration: Next School Year (NSY)
Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday (40 hours/week)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy
  • Background in healthcare and school-based settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery
  • Completion or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Ability to manage caseloads involving multiple disabilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver speech-language services to students both in-person and via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related professionals to support student progress
  • Document and maintain accurate records of services and student progress
  • Adapt therapy strategies based on individual student needs and disabilities

Additional Information:

  • Caseload will include students at two elementary schools
  • Responsive director support available for client care coordination
  • Interviews scheduled as soon as possible with decision turnaround within 24-48 hours
