Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Active and valid Speech Language Pathology license (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Specialized experience in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and assessment tools
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to promoting student growth and achievement

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with moderate to severe needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs in a variety of school environments
  • Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech therapy
