Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as an SLP in a welcoming educational environment near Petaluma, CA! We are seeking two outstanding Speech-Language Pathologists to provide onsite services across multiple schools for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in diverse school settings.

As part of this role, you will enjoy variety and challenge:

  • One position focuses on a middle school caseload, collaborating with three SDCs (covering both mild/moderate and extensive support needs) and also supporting RSP and general education students.
  • The second covers two elementary sites, working with a mix of general education learners and students in extensive support needs classrooms (grades TK-5), offering the chance to hone your skills with a broad spectrum of student needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid California SLP License required
  • PPS Credential
  • Experience or interest in school-based and pediatric speech therapy
  • Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and relevant SLPAs with strong school or healthcare backgrounds
  • Enthusiasm for working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing caseloads across multiple school sites

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Delivering therapy for a variety of needs, from mild articulation to more extensive support requirements
  • Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with school and district policies
