A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Peralta, NM. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 2026 and requires onsite presence, providing services across multiple grade levels including Elementary (PreK through 3rd grade), Middle School (7th-8th), and an additional Elementary (PreK - 6th grade) caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy sessions for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet the diverse needs of students across multiple grade levels.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current New Mexico state licensure.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with children from PreK to middle school in educational settings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage varied caseloads efficiently within a school environment.
