Job Description

This full-time contract-to-hire role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide school-based speech-language pathology services to PreK through 5th-grade students in Pawnee, OK. Ideal candidates will have experience delivering direct therapy, conducting assessments, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for an elementary-aged caseload. This position supports approximately 50 students and involves collaboration within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Provide direct therapy services to students ranging from PreK to 5th grade
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborate with educators and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Travel as needed between school sites as an itinerant clinician (travel compensation provided)

Qualifications:

  • Valid Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience in school-based SLP services preferred
  • Comfort working with elementary-aged children (PreK5th grade)
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively
  • Fingerprint clearance prior to start date
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Work Schedule & Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday through Friday
  • Start date ASAP, continuing through the end of the school year (exact end date to be confirmed)
  • Contract-to-hire with interview options via Zoom or in-person
