This full-time contract-to-hire role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide school-based speech-language pathology services to PreK through 5th-grade students in Pawnee, OK. Ideal candidates will have experience delivering direct therapy, conducting assessments, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for an elementary-aged caseload. This position supports approximately 50 students and involves collaboration within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Provide direct therapy services to students ranging from PreK to 5th grade
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Travel as needed between school sites as an itinerant clinician (travel compensation provided)
Qualifications:
- Valid Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based SLP services preferred
- Comfort working with elementary-aged children (PreK5th grade)
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively
- Fingerprint clearance prior to start date
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Work Schedule & Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday through Friday
- Start date ASAP, continuing through the end of the school year (exact end date to be confirmed)
- Contract-to-hire with interview options via Zoom or in-person
