Key Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey SLP license required
- Prior school-based speech-language pathology experience strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively engage with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Familiarity with IEP processes and IDEA guidelines
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech/language disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams and IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation
- Provide strategies and resources to support classroom teachers and families
- Contribute to a positive school culture that prioritizes communication and inclusion for all learners
