Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage at an elementary school in Paterson, NJ. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to students within an elementary school setting, supporting their communicative and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to an elementary-aged caseload of approximately 15 students.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans consistent with student goals and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with state policies and regulations.
  • Participate in meetings and support school initiatives related to speech-language services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting.
  • Ability to provide teletherapy services as needed.
  • Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Details:

  • Contract position covering a leave during the current school year.
  • Typical workweek and daily hours to be determined based on school schedule.
  • Serve elementary-aged students exclusively.
