This full-time contract role runs from August 17, 2026, through June 3, 2027, and is based in a welcoming school community near Parachute, CO. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Colorado licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Completion of a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- School-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
- Develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and support teams to facilitate student progress
- Conduct regular screenings and evaluations; document treatment outcomes
- Provide resources and guidance to parents and educators on communication needs
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress review
