Job Description

A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact within a K-12 school setting. This contract position is located in Palo Alto, CA, and spans the 2025 academic year, focusing on providing exceptional support to students from August 12, 2025, to November 10, 2025.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to student success and wellness

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored IEPs based on individual student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions
