A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric services within a K-12 school setting in Palmdale, CA. This contract position spans the current school year, starting in March 2026 and concluding on June 4, 2026.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy
- Proficiency in teletherapy services
- Pediatric speech-language pathology expertise
- Familiarity with healthcare-related SLP practices
Location: Palmdale, California (exact school site to be determined)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Manage a caseload averaging approximately 45 students
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized educational programs
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for service delivery
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
Schedule and Duration:
- Contract position from March 2026 through June 4, 2026
- Approximately 30-35 hours per week (schedule to be determined)
