A K-12 school in Palmdale, CA is seeking a skilled and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services on a contract basis for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves supporting students across a broad grade range, delivering individualized speech and language therapy to help improve their communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP Certification (CCC-SLP required)
- Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong understanding of school-based speech therapy and caseload management
- Ability to manage an average caseload of approximately 45 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and other specialists
Location: Palmdale, California
Contract Duration: March 2026 June 4, 2026
Hours: 30-35 hours per week (To Be Determined)
Caseload: Approximately 45 students

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and compliance with educational and therapeutic guidelines
- Participate in meetings related to student education plans and continued therapy needs
