Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Palmdale, CA. This role involves working with a diverse range of students, addressing the needs of both low and high functioning individuals. The position is set to commence ASAP and continue through August for the 2025-2026 school year, offering a structured environment with one campus per SLP.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Valid state licensure and credentials to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Location:

  • Palmdale, California

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support student goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
