Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- School-based experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs related to speech, language, and communication
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the school environment
- Deliver therapy sessions to students with varying speech and language disorders
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote overall student well-being
- Provide education and resources to teachers and parents to support student goals
- Adapt therapy approaches to best suit classroom and remote learning, as needed
