Job Description

A part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Oxford, NC, serving K-12 students in a school setting. This contract role spans the complete school year with a schedule of 16 hours per week, spread across two days, offering a balanced workload ideal for professionals seeking flexibility.

Key qualifications for this position include a valid North Carolina SLP license and current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Candidates should have experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably with exposure to school-based services, teletherapy, or healthcare settings. Recent Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion is welcome.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students K-12
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services to improve communication skills
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Provide teletherapy services when necessary, expanding access to therapy
