This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential speech therapy services in a K-12 school setting. Located in Wedowee, AL, this part-time contract role requires commitment for 24 hours per week spread over 2-3 days, supporting students' communication development and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Alabama SLP license required
- Credentials such as CCC-SLP and school-based experience are preferred
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation in accordance with school policies
