Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with elementary-age students, particularly in special education settings
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Location: Overland Park, KS

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans to support individual student goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create a comprehensive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student needs
