What You Bring:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current or eligible NY state SLP license
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials welcomed
- Strong interest or experience in pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Flexibility for itinerant travel between two school sites (with paid travel)
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork and effective communication with educators and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 population
- Evaluate students communication needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Serve as an integral member of the IEP team; participate in meetings and provide documentation as needed
- Adapt intervention strategies to students unique needs, ensuring progress toward IEP goals
- Regularly consult with teachers and other professionals to optimize support
- Attend paid team meetings and utilize indirect/administrative hours for planning and collaboration
- Benefit from ongoing supervision (as appropriate, CFs welcome)
