This contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to support students in a vibrant educational setting near Orland Park, IL. With a weekly commitment of 32.5 hours across five days, you'll be working with a varied caseload of K-12 students, providing essential speech and language services. The specific number of students on your caseload will be determined upon placement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a school service personnel (PSC) endorsement
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred, but driven new graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and compliant student records and documentation
  • Provide direct therapy and support to students, adapting interventions to meet individual needs
  • Participate in team meetings, consultations with teachers and families, and ongoing progress monitoring
