Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized services within an educational setting in Orinda, CA. This contract position supports two school sitesone elementary and one middle schoolwith a current caseload of approximately 48 students, potentially increasing up to 55. The role demands onsite presence, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills across developmental stages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintaining detailed records and reporting on student performance and therapeutic outcomes
  • Participating actively in professional development and mentorship programs to enhance clinical expertise

Qualifications and experience:

  • Current California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing high-quality therapeutic interventions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for collaboration within school environments

Work schedule and location:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours weekly)
  • Onsite position requiring presence at both school sites in Orinda, CA
  • Contract term beginning immediately and continuing through the next academic year
