Job Description

This full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available near Belfair, WA, serving early learning and elementary school settings. The role focuses on providing speech and language services to children aged 3 to 5 years, including those in developmental preschool programs, itinerant students, and conducting child find evaluations. Key qualifications and experience:

  • ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligible for or holding an ESA credential with the State of Washington
  • Background in pediatrics and school-based speech therapy
  • Experience with developmental preschool populations and itinerant services
  • Skills in teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience are advantageous
  • Strong assessment and evaluation abilities for child find initiatives

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and child find evaluations for eligible students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services to preschool and elementary-aged children
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
