Job Description

A K-12 school in Olathe, KS is seeking a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position covering the next school year. This role offers the opportunity to support students across all grade levels in improving their communication skills within an educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • SLP licensure for school settings
  • Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
  • Strong assessment and intervention strategies for a range of speech and language disorders

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, diagnosis, and individualized therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to development of educational plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student success
